Biographies of KLTR senior office holders
The King's and Lord Treasurer's Remembrancer
John Logue is the Crown Agent and Chief Executive of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS). He was appointed in September 2022 as Interim Crown Agent and appointed to the role permanently in December 2023.
John Logue has been a prosecutor in Scotland for 30 years, having started as a trainee solicitor with the COPFS in 1994.
He has worked as a prosecutor throughout Scotland, including, since 1998, as part of the Lockerbie bombing prosecution team. He has carried out a number of senior roles in the Service, having been the Head of Policy, Area Procurator Fiscal for Tayside, Procurator Fiscal for the East of Scotland, Director of Serious Casework and, since 2016, one of three Deputy Crown Agents.
Between 2016 and 2021 he was responsible for professional standards, information security, prosecution policy and all business services, including resource management and strategic planning.
Between March 2021 and September 2022 he led the Local Court team in COPFS, responsible for all local summary and jury prosecutions across Scotland.
The Crown Agent is the Civil Service head of COPFS and head of profession for Procurators Fiscal. He is the principal legal advisor to the Lord Advocate on prosecution matters and the Chief Executive of COPFS. The Crown Agent is also the King’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, a role he holds separately and in addition to Crown Agent responsibilities.
The Chief Executive Officer
Bobby joined the KLTR in 2017 as its head of office, becoming Chief Executive in September 2023. Since joining the Civil Service in 2003 from the private sector, Bobby has held a variety of senior roles in the public sector including Director of Development in the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service and Head of Judiciary and Courts Policy in the Scottish Government Justice Directorate.
The Chief Finance Officer
Evelyn joined KLTR in July 2024 as Chief Finance Officer. Prior to her move to KLTR she worked for Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) as Director of Finance and latterly Chief Financial Officer. Before joining SAAS she worked for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal and before moving to Central Government spent 28 years working in Local Government.
Evelyn's professional remit has covered areas such as finance, procurement, recoveries, counter fraud, payroll, financial systems, facilities, health and safety, governance, change and process re-engineering.
